Jim Hedges

Director of Insights and Partnerships, WinField United

Jim grew up in the community of Moweaqua, Illinois where the family was involved in a row crop farming operation. He co-founded Moweaqua Seed Company in 1987, a company focused on Hybrid corn and soybean production and sales. Following the brand’s integration with Monsanto brands in 2007, he joined the ASI team in St Louis as the ASI Corn Business Lead and in 2009 transitioned to the role of President of Corn States, Monsanto’s Trait and Germplasm Licensing arm.

Jim served in a variety of management roles befor leaving Monsanto to join 360 Yield Center in 2013. In January of 2017 he departed to join the WISErg company as an Advisor to the Board. He joined WinField United in May of 2017 as Director of Insights and Partnerships for the newly formed Ag Technology group.

Jim continues to live in Moweaqua with his wife Loretta and sons Jack and Mitch, and continues to help operate a 3000 acre corn and soybean farm.
